The December Bow is worked back and forth in one piece from tip to tip in garter stitch with i-cord edges. The work is folded into a bow and sewn together at the end following the diagram with instructions that can be found at the end of the pattern. A leather handle is attached to the back so the bow can be hung.
If you want to wear the December Bow in your hair instead, you can knit it on 3 mm [US2½] needles with thinner yarn, and sew a hair clip (6 cm [2¾ inches]) on the back of the bow at the end.
