Terms & Conditions

1. HOW TO PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER

1.1 Selecting your goods

On the product page, scroll down to select the specific product by clicking its image or name. If the product has a style associated with it, e.g. a colour, size, etc., then scroll down to select the desired individual item.

The webpage displays an appropriate message indicating whether KNiTT has items in stock or not.

Enter the number of items required, and click the “Add” button. Doing this places the items in online shopping basket. Continue to shop as you wish.

1.2 Product descriptions
All the information on KNiTT online shop website is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions are current and error free. We will correct errors as soon as they are brought to our attention. Colour names and swatches are for your convenience only. Because of the difference in which computer screens display colours, the colour that you see may not match the actual colour of the yarn. If a product you have ordered is not as described, you may cancel your order and return the Goods to us in an unused re-saleable condition for a refund.

We do not accept returns of any yarns that are discontinued or have been bought on sale.

1.3 Viewing your shopping basket
The contents of your basket are listed on the left-hand side of the page. Shoppers outside the UK can change the currency in which shop prices and the value of their basket is displayed to their home currency. However, please note that such displayed prices are indicative only, and may not equal the actual costs that are billed by your bank or card company when it converts the base UK sterling amounts to your home currency.

When you have finished shopping, click the “View and Checkout” button.

On the basket page, you have the option of saving the basket until the next time you visit the shop, amending quantities or deleting items altogether.

When you are happy that the basket contains the items you wish to purchase, simply click the “checkout” button.

1.4 Checking out
First you need to confirm your delivery address.

Please note that the delivery address of your first purchase must be the same as that which you registered with the online shop and also the same as the invoice address of the payment card you intend to use.  This measure is to safeguard the security of our customers and to deter the fraudulent use of payment cards.  For your second, or subsequent, purchase, you may specify an alternative delivery address if you wish.

1.5 Our delivery service

We ship Domestically and Worldwide with Royal Mail. Our shipping rates are based on the weight of your order.

We ship Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays).

We do our very best to post your goodies as soon as possible - usually the same day. You will receive an automated shipping confirmation e-mail as soon as your order leaves us.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

All international orders are sent via Airmail and charges are based upon the weight of your order.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.

The risk in delivery of the goods passes to you on the commencement of supply or transportation to you or, where you will not accept supply on the date of delivery, to temporary storage arranged by us or the postal / courier service making the delivery.

1.6 Making payments & card security
Next, you will be asked to provide your payment details.

We accept all Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, or you can use PayPal.

Your order is accepted once payment is received. You will receive a confirmation of your order by email.

1.7 Tax
In the case of orders made by customers resident outside the European Union (EU) and delivering to an address outside the EU, then VAT will be removed from the cost of goods. For all other orders, prices include VAT as required by UK law. The cost of carriage is inclusive of VAT irrespective of the address of the customer or the delivery address.

1.8 What happens if goods are out of stock?
In the event that we do not have enough stock to complete your order, we will email or phone you to advise. You may wish to have your requested items back-ordered at that point, take part delivery or cancel the order. Please note that it can take between 10 and 28 days to re-stock from some of KNiTT overseas suppliers.

2. CANCELLATION / RETURNS POLICY
