The front pieces are joined with the back and worked back and forth to full length. Stitches are picked up around each armhole for the sleeves, which are worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with double ribbing. A double-knitted button band is worked along each front piece before the neckband is worked in ribbing and folded double to the wrong side. Finally, the pockets are knitted and sewn on, and elastic is threaded through the double ribbing at the waist and on each sleeve.
