Kaja Jacket is worked from the top down in Kos and Tynn Silk Mohair, holding one strand of each quality together. The jacket features a charted pattern, double-knitted front bands, a zipper and optional pockets.

The jacket is worked from the top down in a charted pattern. Stitches are first cast on for the back, which is worked back and forth to below the underarms. Stitches are then picked up for the front pieces, where stitches are decreased for the neckline while short rows are worked. When the short rows are complete, stitches are cast on for the neckline. The front pieces are worked back and forth to below the underarms before being joined with the back. The work is continued back and forth to full length and finished with ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves. The sleeves are worked in the round in a charted pattern to full length and finished with ribbing. Stitches are then picked up for the neckband and front bands, which are worked in double knitting before the zipper is sewn in. Two optional pockets can also be knitted and sewn onto the front pieces. The entire jacket is worked holding 1 strand of each quality together.
