Mandarin Petit is our thinnest cotton yarn and is 100% plant-based. The absorbent properties of the cotton easily wick moisture, making it ideal for cloths and summer garments. Cotton fiber is not scratchy, making it a favorite among people who find find wool itchy.
We recommend that all hand-knitted garments be washed separately to ensure the most gentle treatment. The strength of cotton increases when wet. This means that hand-knitted garments made of cotton can be washed at higher temperatures. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel.
