ISAGER SILK MOHAIR, with its mixture of silk and mohair, is a beautiful, soft and glossy yarn that has a shaggy structure. We mainly use it in knits with other yarns, but it is also beautiful on its own, especially in simple designs. Structure knitting will not be seen in the shaggy yarn unless it is knitted together with a smoother yarn. Silk Mohair is shaggy, and a shaggy yarn will always shed, both during knitting and in use. As a rule, shedding will subside over time, but you must be prepared for a certain "shedding". At Isager, we are very aware that our yarn is made from long mohair fibers of the finest quality, which reduces shedding.
