Pernilla is a 3-ply yarn spun from 100% wool. The wool we use for Pernilla comes from Peruvian highland sheep, a crossbreed between corriedale and merino. The sheep graze on the Peruvian highlands, which contributes to the wool being extra fluffy and beautifully matt looking.
We use the same wool for our Peruvian

Pernilla is worsted spun, which makes the strand round and very even. This gives a beautiful stitch definition and therefore Peruvian is extremely suitable for cables, texture patterns and stranded knitting.

Pernilla is suitable for all kinds of projects – knitting or crochet for both children and adults, and the work can be felted.

Mulesing is not used on Peruvian highland sheeps.
