ECOLOGY – STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® – LIGHTNESS – SOFTNESS - QUALITY Organic Summer Wool is processed and spun exclusively for CaMaRose from 100% organic merino and cotton fibers at a European producer who, like other CaMaRose producers, produces with regard to the environment, animal welfare, health, working conditions, sustainability and quality. The 100% organic and new fibers are spun into a classic three-ply off-white base yarn which is subsequently dyed with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® approved colors for the unique colors made especially for CaMaRose. Organic Sommeruld is a classic three-ply mixed yarn consisting of 70% organic merino wool and 30% organic cotton. Summer wool's combination of merino wool and cotton gives a lightness and softness that is particularly suitable for baby and children's knitwear. The combination of merino wool and cotton provides a delicious alternative to 100% wool and can be used for summer tops, t-shirts and blouses without being too hot but warm enough for the often cool Nordic summers. Organic summer wool in the base color Råhvid 2001 is a suitable base yarn for plant dyeing or other dyeing where you want an organic yarn as a base. Organic Summer wool takes up colors nicely and evenly and is completely easy to handle in the dye pot after it has been won up to fat and is hardy in the dyeing process. The color chart in CaMaRose Organic Summer Wool is designed with an eye to being able to combine neutral, contrasting or tone on tone, as well as blending by knitting with two threads. The colors are inspired by the colors and light of the north, and the color card is regularly expanded in line with the trends of the time, so it is always up-to-date and inspiring for individual color combinations. Organic summer wool is suitable for crocheting and with its cotton content provides good shape stability and, with its 70% wool, does not become heavy when you crochet or knit large blankets.
